SASIL oversees the complete mineral processing cycle, from extraction to packaging.

For this application, SASIL Spa was seeking a solution for mixing products and continuously feeding the process:

• Control and management of the products to be mixed.
• Mixing two products with adjustable percentages.
• Continuously feeding the mixed product and calculating the quantities produced.

Our solution

SCAIME supplied a solution with the system integrator NONIS Srl, SCAIME’s partner in Italy.

WEIGHING 2 SILOS OF PRODUCTS

• Eight R10X 1t sensors with a SILOSAFE mounting kit
• Two eNod-T weighing controllers

MIXER WEIGHING FOR CONTINUOUS DOSING

• Four SK30X 1000 kg sensors and four STABIFLEX mounting kits
• One eNod4-F weighing controller for continuous loss-in-weight dosing
• For management of the products to be mixed, two eNod4-T weighing systems connected to the EtherNet/IP network.
• For the mixer, an eNod4-F continuous loss-in-weight dosing system, overseeing flow regulation and totalisation of the mixed product.

Customer benefit

• An optimised architecture in which the PLC is responsible for supervision of the system, while the weighing operations are overseen by the eNod4-T controllers.
• Stock-level control by the two eNod4-Ts and continuous feed flow control by the eNod4-F.
